Don’t believe me? Beyoncé put her spin on one of the most popular hairstyles this year, and with her stamp of approval, salons around the world are about to be booked and busy.
On May 15, the Cowboy Carter singer took to Instagram to show us what she’s been up to with a slideshow of new photos. Each picture shows the singer dressed in a halter-neck LBD and wearing her newly signature bolo-tie and a fun feather boa. Throughout the slideshow (which also features Jay-Z and Loewe’s viral faux rose heels), our attention went straight to her hair. She wore bouncy blonde curls with a soft layer of curtain bangs framing her face.

Her latest look features a bright blonde color with darker roots and lighter highlights throughout. She styled it in loose curls throughout the layered strands with soft, barely noticeable face-framing curtain bangs.

ICYMI: Curtain bangs are still set to be one of the biggest hair trends for this year, especially going into summer. Emily Cable, a Los Angeles-based hairstylist previously told Byrdie that “the most popular bang right now is the soft curtain bangs around the eye to cheek bone level.” Similar to Beyoncé’s cut, the softer curtain bang isn’t as obvious, but the structured layers are still effective in providing volume and shape.
