Kylie Jenner is not new to a bold hair transformation. After all, she dedicated an entire era of her tween years to trying out all the hair colors of the rainbow. But, this morning, we did a double take when she debuted a curly blonde bob haircut on Instagram. Is it a wig, or her natural hair? Is this for her next Khy or Kylie Cosmetics campaign? We have questions, but no matter what the case may be, her vampy glam and Old Hollywood hair is a major slay.
When Jenner revealed an homage to her past self in the form of pastel pink hair earlier this year, we all exclaimed “We are so back,” but then the buzz for a return to her King Kylie era died down. But, with blonde hair and bobs trending, we should’ve suspected something coming from the star. “Did someone say they missed king kylie” she captioned the photo (and yes, we did say that).

Her new hairstyle was giving modern-day Marilyn Monroe, which commenters picked up on. Stopping right at her cheekbone, her short, curly hair was styled into ringlets, showing off the bright blonde color of her hair. Although her curly bob steals the spotlight (and rightfully so), her makeup look adds another cool factor.
Her dark brown brows and spidery lashes contrasted with the bright blonde for a grungy, punk vibe. She styled a super-long cat eye liner that extended to the tops of her cheeks. Rosy blush defined her cheeks and a pop of shimmer highlighter her nose. The finishing touch was her two-toned lip, which featured a dark brown lip liner paired with a mauve matte lipstick.

Bright blonde hair is trending this summer, and it feels like every celebrity is trying out the bob haircut. And, while Jenner’s look feels more costume-y than an everyday style, it’s refreshing to see the 26-year-old try out something new. So is King Kylie back for good? Only time will tell!
