White jeans are practically synonymous with summer fashion, and I always get tons of requests for white denim recommendations this time of year, so today I’ve got my 2024 white denim guide for you!

I’ve tried lots of white jeans this year, in lots of different styles and price points, and these are my favorites so far this season.
Best White Jeans Under $100
My favorite white jeans under $100 are from Gap Factory, and when they run sales, you can usually get them for well under $50. They carry the current styles, they fit a woman’s body well, and best of all, they aren’t see-through.
They do tend to stretch out some with wear, so I recommend wearing them around the house for an hour or two before removing the tags to make sure you have the right size. As an added bonus, most Gap Factory jeans come in three lengths — short, regular, and long.
Their High Rise Wide-Leg Utility Crop Jeans in a soft shade of off-white are my current favorites. They have a 27″ inseam, and they fit slim through the hip and relaxed through the thigh. The utility pockets are a trendy detail, but the trouser style hem and wide leg silhouette make them a modern classic you can have in your closet for years.

Another option for a kick crop jean under $100 is the Wit & Wisdom ‘Ab’Solution Frayed High Waist Ankle Flare Jeans. I have the ecru, but they also come in a crisp white.
These have a 27 1/2″ inseam with a 17 1/2″ leg opening and a 10 1/4″ high rise; and the fabric is 97% cotton, 3% spandex, so they have just the right amount of stretch. This is a really nice classic bootcut style to have in your rotation this season!

The other under-$100 denim brand I really like is KUT from the Kloth, but I guess I don’t have any of their white jeans this year. Their Ana is a nice choice for a classic flare, the Meg is a really good wide leg style, and I also have and love these shorts.

Best White Jeans Under $200
In the under $200 category, the best white jeans I’ve found are the Good American straight leg jeans with the raw hem. Good American denim is known for its figure-hugging, stomach-smoothing fit. Their jeans also have a gap-proof waistband designed to fit women who have a larger waist to hip ratio. While that is not my issue, they fit my body extremely well too.
This pair has a 27 1/2″ inseam with a 14 1/2″ leg opening and a 11″ front rise; and the fabric is 72% cotton, 20% recycled cotton, 6% elasterell-p, 2% elastane. The denim is nice and thick and has a good amount of stretch, so it’s very comfortable and doesn’t show through at all.

It used to be that you could find a lot of good jeans in this $100-200 range, but these days, most premium denim brands are over $200. Other under $200 options to consider are Madewell, J.Crew, and Joe’s Jeans.
Best White Jeans: Premium Denim Brands (Over $200)
Since premium denim is my wheelhouse, I’m going to divide this section up by style of denim. Spoiler alert: most of these are PAIGE or MOTHER. Both of these brands give you an amazing fit and feel, the washes and fabric details are impeccable, and they keep their shape and wash and wear extremely well.
My Favorite White Straight Leg Jeans
The MOTHER Dazzler is my favorite straight leg denim style, but they have a very slim fit, which can read more as a skinny on ladies with more athletic legs. I got this pair at Anthro back in 2022, and I’ve worn them a ton. They look as good with flats as they do with heels.
They have a 9 3/4″ mid rise and a 27 1/2″ inseam with a 13″ leg opening and a clean finished hem, for a slim straight fit. The 94% cotton, 4% polyester, 2% elastane fabric has a good amount of stretch, for the perfect fit. They give some with wear, but they don’t bag out.

I also like the Frame Le High Straight in Blanc. These jeans have a 10 1/2″ front rise and a 27″ inseam with a 14″ leg opening and a clean finished hem. The fabric is 92% cotton, 6% polyester, 2% elastane; so it also has a good bit of stretch. It’s also slightly thicker than MOTHER’s white denim.

My Favorite White Flares
For several years, I’ve worn the MOTHER The Insider Crop Step Fray when I want a casual pair of white jeans. I like them so much that I recently purchased a new pair in the next size up (thanks, menopause!)
These are the Fairest Of Them All — MOTHER’s most popular white denim wash, and the fabric content is the same 94% Cotton 4% Polyester 2% Elastane. They’re a high-waisted bootcut style that hits at the ankle with a frayed step-hem. They have a 10″ Rise, and a 26″ Inseam with a 15″ Leg Opening.

I also really like the MOTHER Hustler in the same wash. These are a high-rise, ankle-length flare with a raw hem. They have a 11″ high rise and a 27 1/2″ inseam with a 16″ leg opening, so a little bit longer and wider than The Insider. They also come in Petite, for those who need it.

A similar style, and a new addition to my denim wardrobe this spring is the PAIGE Claudine in the Lived in Crisp White Surfside wash.
They have an 11 5/8″ rise and a 28″ inseam with a 17 1/4″ leg opening, for a relaxed ankle length flare silhouette, and I love that scalloped raw hem.
The fabric is 98% Cotton, 2% Elastane, which is pretty much the perfect denim fabrication, in my opinion. It holds its shape extremely well but gives you just enough stretch to be comfortable. They’re also thicker and a little less see-through than MOTHER’s white denim.

My Favorite White Wide Leg Jeans
Wide leg jeans are trending this season, and I’ve tried quite a few pairs in a variety of denim washes. For white jeans, my current favorites are both from PAIGE. The PAIGE Leenah is more of a trouser jean, so it lends itself to dressier looks.
They have an 11″ front rise and a 32″ inseam with a 22 1/4″ leg opening. Because of the length, I wear them with heels, and I like them for church or going out to dinner. These would also be nice for work wear, if they fit your dress code.

For a cropped wide leg pair, the PAIGE Nellie is a nice choice. It’s a classic culotte silhouette with a high-rise and loosely tailored shape. These are as polished as the Leenah, but more versatile because you can wear them with flats or heels. They also give off more casual vibes, but they can be dressed up as well.
These jeans have a 10 3/4″ high rise and a 26 1/2″ cropped inseam with a relaxed fit and a 19 1/2″ wide leg opening. The fabric is 92% cotton, 6% elastomultiester, 2% elastane; and they have a slight texture to them, which I like.

I also just added the PAIGE Anessa in Tonal Ecru to my summer denim lineup. They have an 11 5/8″ front rise and a 27″ inseam with a 22 1/2″ leg opening. I love the utility pockets and the cropped wide leg silhouette with the raw hem, for a casual summery vibe.
