No matter what Rihanna does, you can guarantee we’re here for it. If she’s spotted in New York wearing a leopard mini dress and spring’s biggest nail trend, we’re going to book an appointment with the salon and get in on the leopard craze. If she’s dropping a new Fenty Beauty product, we’ll probably buy it. The multi-hyphenate has an authentic flair in everything she does that is tangible in her businesses, always keeping fans on their toes. So, even though we were *slightly* bummed that her latest drop wasn’t R9 (where is the album, Rihanna??), her surprise announcement of Fenty Hair felt so Rih Rih in the best way possible.
Yes, you read that correctly: Rihanna is launching haircare. She’s in good company on the list of celebrities recently exploring the hair market, like Beyoncé’s Cérced and Brooke Shields’ Commence. The Anti singer posted a video for the announcement to Instagram with the caption “a new family is moving in! @fentyhair is pullin up and it’s time to finally have the hair experience you’ve been waiting for.” The best part? She was wearing an edgy blonde pixie cut that feels like an homage to the mogul’s successful career.
It’s no doubt Rihanna is a hair chameleon. One minute she’s blonde and the next she has bangs—the list could go on forever. The 36-year-old has practically tried every color and style, which inspired the new line of haircare. “You know how much switching my hair up matters to me,” she wrote in the caption. “…I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need!”
In the teaser video, Rihanna debuted a sporty pixie cut with bangs that swooped to the side and sat on her forehead. She kept her newly signature golden blonde color, which looked extra bright thanks to the short cut. The look felt like a nice nod to the many times she's tried a pixie cut over her career, but also fresh and new.

Her makeup in the video was soft and glamorous. Blush highlighted her cheeks and a slight swipe of bronzer added dimension to her face. She wore super fluttery lashes and a light pink eyeshadow, matching her blush. The finishing touch to her makeup, as always, was a perfectly glossed pink lip.

Rihanna has been tight-lipped on what kind of products she'll be dropping, so we're short on details for the time being. However, we do know that the line will arrive on June 13, and we'll be counting down the days until then.
