It seems like all of the bloggers I follow share Amazon Home finds, and they do have some great stuff, but I’m a sucker for Ballard Designs when it comes to home decor. Whenever I’m asked where I got the wall art and accent pieces in my home, and they are usually from Ballard.
The quality is excellent, but more than that, I just love their style. They do such a good job at reinterpreting classic designs in a contemporary way, and I also get lots of decorating inspiration from their catalog.
QUICK LINKS
I’m getting ready to switch my winter throw pillows and other home decor over to spring, so I was perusing the Ballard website for a few new accent pieces to freshen up my home for the season, and there are so many pretty things! I decided to do a roundup in case you’re also doing a spring home refresh and need some new ideas. Also, they just so happen to be having a Friends & Family Event, so you can get 25% off (30% off for cardholders) if anything strikes your fancy!
Spring Flowers & Greenery
I love to use faux flowers and greenery around my house to keep it looking fresh. I have a few large vases throughout, where I swap out the stems with each change of season. I also like to update the wreath on our front door.

Throw Blankets
I’ve been listening to my friend Myquillyn’s House Rules podcast, and she’s a big fan of decorating seasonally rather than based on the holidays. I love this because (other than Christmas) I’m not one to buy a lot of holiday decor, but I do like my home to reflect the season we’re in.
That made me realize that I change out my florals and greenery, but I don’t usually think about decorative pillows and throw blankets as seasonal decor items. I tend to keep the same ones on my furniture all year ’round, but that’s about to change! I plan to pack away my cozier blankets for spring/summer and get a few lightweight pieces, like the ones below.

Coffee Table Books
Coffee table books are a great way to add interest to your occasional tables, plus they’re fun to look at. I always keep a stack on my foyer table or living room coffee table and I’ve had the same ones for years! I think I’m going to order a new one from the selection below to add to my stack. The question is, which one???
Making A House A Home // Suzanne Kasler Edited Style // Beautiful All American Decorating
Also, speaking of Myquillyn and coffee table books, I have her new House Rules book on pre-order. She promises that in addition to it being useful, it will look gorgeous sitting on a table in your home.
Decorative Accents
I’m also guilty of leaving the same decorative accents in the same spots for years on end. I usually change out the ones on my foyer table with the seasons, but I want to get better about the other areas in my home. The ones pictured below are all things I have my eye on. I especially love that Agave Sculpture, and how they have it setting on a book.

I know I said I don’t usually decorate for holidays other than Christmas, but those Hanging Easter Eggs are calling to me. They’re both elegant and festive. The little bud vases are super cute too, and that wicker tray is similar to the one I have on my upholstered coffee table in the family room.

Fresh Throw Pillows
Of course, throw pillows are one of the easiest ways to update your home decor for the season. I have two of the Becca Pillow in my living room, but I want to add a few more in other solids or patterns to make it more interesting. I also could use a few new ones for the family room. I rounded up some of my favorites below.

I realize these items can be pricey, but like quality clothing, you will have them for years. Of course, not everyone is looking to make that kind of investment in home decor, so let me know if you’d like to see a similar post from Amazon. Amy actually went through and found similar-for-less options to each of these. Meanwhile, here are some other Ballard Design items I own and recommend.
